Step into the world of technical trail running with the Dachstein Advanced trip, with Chalet Filzmoos as your perfect base for a week of mountain running adventures. During this week, you will gain a wealth of valuable experience that will help you transform yourself into a more adept trailrunner. Our playground consists of technical single tracks with challenging vertical.


This trip is specially designed for experienced runners with trailrunning background. And is the ideal preparation for a trailrunning event in the Alps or a multi-day challenge such as the Alprunning Expert or similar trips or events.


Besides devouring delicious trails every day, we also pay attention to technique and equipment. Expect day-long stages between 15 and 25 km on technical trails, through snow fields, rope-secured passages and light scrambling.

Programme:


Day 1: Arrival, introduction and the possibility of a pre travel fun run. After dinner, we discuss the week's programme.
Day 2: In the morning equipment check, packing and then a trail near the chalet, 16K +/- 900hm.
Day 3: A morning and an afternoon trail from Hofalmen, where we also have lunch or one long trail. Optio may be to return to the chalet while trailrunning.
Day 4: Dachsteinsüdwand route 23K +1240vm
Day 5: Gosaukamrunde 25K +1800vm, or a climb to the Rettenstein 19K +1500hm.
Day 6: Breakfast and departure

  • 6 days / 5 nights based on double occupancy
  • Half-board: varied and fresh breakfast, 4x dinner at the chalet and a well-deserved drink afterwards

Excluding:

 

  • Return trip
  • 1 evening we will eat out locally; this is at your own expense

  • Travel and cancellation insurance (check for additional mountain sports cover)
